Summary: We want to be fair and transparent. If your review hasn't started, you can get a full refund. Once work has begun, refunds are partial or unavailable depending on the service. When in doubt, email us - we're reasonable people.
1. Directory Application Fee ($79)
Before review begins
If you request a refund within 48 hours of payment and your application review has not yet started, you are entitled to a full refund of the $79 application fee.
After review begins
Once your application has entered the review process, the $79 application fee is non-refundable. This is because the fee covers the time and cost of independent review, which begins upon submission.
If your application is declined
If your application does not meet our 85/100 threshold and is declined, the application fee is not refunded. You will receive a written report with your scores and specific feedback on areas for improvement. You are welcome to reapply after addressing the identified issues.
2. Audit Services
Website Audit ($349)
Full refund: Available if requested within 48 hours of payment and before audit work has commenced.
50% refund: Available if requested after audit work has begun but before the written report has been delivered.
No refund: Once the written audit report has been delivered, no refund is available regardless of the outcome.
Website + Social Media Audit ($549)
Full refund: Available if requested within 48 hours of payment and before audit work has commenced.
50% refund: Available if requested after audit work has begun but before the written report has been delivered.
No refund: Once the written audit report has been delivered, no refund is available regardless of the outcome.
Passing the Audit
Purchasing an audit service does not guarantee a passing score or a directory listing. If you do not achieve the required score, the audit fee is not refunded, but you will receive a detailed written report with your scores and actionable recommendations.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email info@neurovetted.com with:
- Your full name and the email address used for payment.
- The service you purchased and the date of purchase.
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method and financial institution.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that life happens. If you are experiencing an exceptional circumstance (such as a medical emergency or bereavement) that prevents you from proceeding with a service, please reach out to us directly. We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to be fair and compassionate.
5. Legal Entity
Neurovetted is a brand operated by Unqualified Opinion Store, a sole proprietorship registered in Canada and owned by Dana Skalin. All payments, refunds, and financial transactions are processed under Unqualified Opinion Store. If your payment processor or bank statement references this name, it refers to Neurovetted.
