The Neurovetted Directory exists for one purpose: to protect ADHD and neurodivergent people from predatory, unethical, or unsafe service providers.

Every approved provider must adhere to the following standards at all times:

1. Integrity as the Foundation
  • No false claims

  • No exaggerating results

  • No manipulating vulnerability

  • No fear-based messaging

  • No “miracle cure” narratives

2. Transparency in All Interactions
  • Clear pricing

  • Clear expectations

  • Clear boundaries

  • Clear scope of practice

  • Clients must always know: what you do, what you don’t do, and what you charge.

3. Ethical Marketing

Providers must commit to:

  • zero pressure tactics

  • zero scarcity manipulation

  • zero guilt-based selling

  • zero ND-shaming messaging

We explicitly prohibit:

  • countdown timers for non-urgent services

  • preying on desperation

  • “this is your last chance to fix your life” narratives

  • MLM, pyramid, or cult-like business models

4. Accountability

Neurovetted may remove any provider at any time for:

  • ethical violations

  • complaints

  • credential misrepresentation

  • unsafe conduct

  • predatory marketing

  • discrimination

Every approved provider offering medical or mental health services specifically (coaching, dieticians, sleep specialists, occupational therapists, therapists, doctors, nurses, etc.) must adhere to the following standards at all times:

5. Competence & Qualifications

You must:

  • practice within your scope

  • hold appropriate credentials for your field

  • disclose your training

  • maintain ongoing education

  • carry liability insurance where applicable

6. Neurodivergent-Affirming Practice

You agree to:

  • recognize sensory needs

  • offer communication flexibility

  • avoid pathologizing

  • use inclusive language

  • understand executive function challenges

  • avoid punitive or authoritarian approaches

7. Client Safety Comes First

Providers must ensure:

  • informed consent

  • confidentiality

  • boundaries

  • safety protocols

  • crisis referral options

8. Honesty About Scope

You must never:

  • diagnose without credentials

  • treat without appropriate authority

  • offer medical advice if non-medical

  • present coaching as therapy
